Episode 3: Saved by the Bell’s Lisa Turtle

Lisa Turtle was known as Bayside’s most boy-crazy fashionista. Although one of her top priorities was ignoring the advances of her high school admirer and friend, Samuel “Screech” Powers, she also had a few extra-curricular interests. She was a Bayside cheerleader, a member of the swim team, and president of the school’s Fashion Club. (Do schools actually have those???) She even designed her own clothing line. After all, that’s how she got accepted in to the Fashion Institute of Technology, isn’t it?

Lisa adored fashion, and all things animal print, especially leopard. She strutted her stuff in bold patterns, dresses, and blazers. Bright colors were also constants in Lisa’s wardrobe, as she loved being the center of attention in eye-catching looks.

According to Lisa, an outfit wasn’t finished until it was properly accessorized, which is why she regularly hats, belts, and lots o’ jewelry. She typically adorned her feet with colorful cowboy boots or boots with a heel.

Always one to keep up with the latest fashion trends, here is what Lisa Turtle would sport in 2009:

oh my gosh I can see her wearing every single one of those things! Especially the t-shirt and that dress with the belt and the leggings. Great choices!

You know, I SO should have started a fashion club at my school…that would have been fun.

Dapper Kid – I’m glad I could make you nostalgic!

Kim – Hahah…that’s quite a combo!

Mrs. M – Yay! My mission was a success then!

The Clothes Horse – I know! Me too! Why didn’t we think of that?

Frankie – I never thought about the comparison between her and Blossom, but you may be onto something. Thanks!

Giggleness – That’s what I was hoping for!
