Prescriptives Sends Me to Foundation Heaven!

While perusing the cosmetics section of a local department store today, I thought I’d stop by the Prescriptives counter. My foundation supply is in dire straits, and I’ve been needing to find just the right formula and color. I was so excited when the darling woman at the counter offered to do a complimentary colorprinting on me to find out my exact match.

That’s when it happened: I fell in love. Yes, folks: L-O-V-E. You see, I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with foundations. Love them in the winter and hate them in the summer. And because I’m fair skinned with olive undertones, few foundations ever get it just right.

Then I met Virtual Skin. It’s sheer to medium coverage means it gives me the matte look I want, without being too heavy.

And the icing on the cake? Prescriptives is currently running an All Skins purchase with a purchase promotion where you can get a foundation brush for only $17 (regularly $30!) when you buy any foundation. (I officially swear by foundation brushes!)

So, that pretty much made this girls day.
