Since meeting the fella, we have a VERY strict birthday policy: the birthday boy or girl gets to do WHATEVER they want, and the other must oblige. If I want to force him to go jeans shopping with me, he has to. If he wants to play lazer tag, then I must.
I tell you, since I’ve known him, my birthdays haven’t been quite the disappointment that they used to be. This year we went to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, had lunch, he made breakfast, we napped & snuggled…. it was a good day, overall.
My birthday is at Christmas and sandwich after my mom’s…so I like to go out for sushi and martini’s with my crew to destress from holiday shopping.

I think my favorite way to celebrate is spending earlier in the day with my family, munching on cake and sweets, and then later (giving my stomach time to settle!) going out with my friends to have some slightly inebriated fun
And of course – buying myself new shoes!
Happy Birthday, dolly! My favorite way to spend my birthday is, of course, with my loved ones around me and everyone happy. Traditionally, my birthday doesn’t usually go that well, so I try to just keep it as low-key as possible. Hope yours goes well!

Happy happy! For my birthday, I really love to hit the local Rat Pack bar, dressed appropriately of course, and have a few martinis while I listen to the Dean Martin impersonator. Makes me feel swank!

As for me– I enjoy a nice quiet dinner and drinks with friends and family. I’m not a huge “birthday” type of person, so I like to keep it low key. Every now and then, I will have a fun theme party or a destination birthday. My favorite birthday was a group trip to Miami. I’m a November baby, so everyone was happy with the beach relocation of festivities.
Happy Birthday! =D woot woot. I always always celebrate with my 5-10 closest friends and start with champagne toasts at my house, then go downtown for tapas or wine tasting. Eat a light dinner and then dance the night away until some guy with big muscles politely asks me to leave
. OH and I can’t forget my FAVORITE pink champagne cupcakes….but thats a new tradition. Bisous!
My birthday was yesterday July 26th.I’m 18 now! wow!..But I like to get all dressed up, make up, hair and nails done! Then I lik to go to a place tht I dont visit often or hav never been,experience the weather,the food, and the fun! I only hang around people that will mak me laugh and I tolerate no drama!lol
My favorite way to spend my birth “day” is at home doing whatever I want i.e. sleep in, not answer phone, spurge on some chocolate, paint my toes… Then at “night” I like to have a quiet supper at the local Chinese buffet — one of the few places in town that does NOT do the silly b-day sing-a-long with all it’s staff.

My favorite way to spend my birthday has always been with my BF, laying around and just generally enjoying myself. My 21st was probably the most enjoyable… we went out with some friends, came home early and spent the night together (this was, obviously, before we lived together).

I like to have theme birthday parties every year with decorations, costumes, games and loot bags too! (just like when we were all kids, but updated just a smidge!) I have had Murder Mystery, Reality TV “Trash”, Freaks or Geeks, Superheroes, Military theme with Paintball! etc… It is so much fun. Oh, and a birtdhay is never complete without cupcakes!
Favourite way to spend my birthday? On my own, as I please… sounds boring but I love enjoying a great coffee, delicious cupcake, some browsing through vintage & kitsch stores, watching a trashy romantic comedy and doing it all dressed utterly fabulously. My birthday is me time.
My favorite way to spend my birthday is with my family. This year I turn 31 and my husband, 2 older sisters and both my parents (in their sixties) are coming to Disney World with me to celebrate! I adore that we still have family vacations even though we’re all adults, but my family means more to me than the world and spending time with them is always the best gift. Corny? Yes. Sappy? Yes. True? Hell Yes!

My favorite way to spend my birthday is by spending time with people I love. Going to get coffee in the morning, lunch with my boyfriend, dinner with friends and family.
For my birthday I like to shop til i drop. Hit the bar then late at night take a HOT steamy bath while eating a pint of my FAVORITE icecream. It’s something about the contrasting hot/coldness that soothes me.
Ironically, I always treat myself to a pedicure on my birthday. But I’d love to play with these fabulous colors for the remaining 364 days!
I always celebrate International Paula Day by giving everyone a 30day prior countdown to make sure they have plenty of time to get me a really special gift that they know I will enjoy. Then for my actual day, I make a point to go to work and let everyone tell me Happy Birthday. I also make sure to give all of my online friends plenty of opportunity to give me all of their well wishes, as I know they all want to make sure I feel special on my birthay. I’m kind of a big deal.

Two years ago, I came to the realization that my favorite way to spend my birthday is, in short, “not here.” I love going on trips and being away from all of my responsibilities, whether it’s for a week, weekend or even just a full day. Last year my boyfriend took me to a remote cabin above a waterfall (no, I don’t know how he scored that, haha) and we spent the weekend laying around, doing some touristy stuff, and otherwise just making the time special. It’s probably the best birthday I’ve ever had.
My favourite way to spend my birthday is having a special dinner with my husband.
I prefer to spend my birthday doing something I’ve never done before. It doesn’t have to be something extravagant, even trying a new restaurant, or seeing a new part of the city is adequate. This year I’m going to a conservatory, and probably out to lunch in downtown Chicago.
So long as a camera, and unbeatable company is in tow, I’m sure to have an awesome day!
