reLYME (ree-lime) is a lifestyle blog written by Beka Mercurio. It began as a hobby, and was intended to serve as solely a fashion blog. The realization that the Internet possessed such a fabulously rich environment for fashion and fashion blogs, led to the evolution of reLYME. Heavily influenced by a healthy dose of pop culture with a side of social media, reLYME aims to serve as a go-to blog for all things everyday and beautiful.

About Beka
Beka is a Florida native, with a brief diversion in New York City, who had always dreamed of life in the big city, and is working hard to make it happen. She has been glued to the Internet since she got her first screenname while in middle school. By the time she entered college, Beka was building websites, taking part in online communities, and blogging away. Her love affair with fashion began at the age of 10 when she received her first magazine subscription. (It was Seventeen and Luke Perry was on the cover.) It was from that moment that she fell in love with editorial photography and the true art behind styling. In middle school, Beka would save up her babysitting money, walk to her favorite local clothing store, and purchase new clothes. (Hello, platforms and bell bottom jeans!)
In her mid-twenties, Beka has worked as a freelance writer, a full-time writer, a teacher, and a social media diva. Actually, what she most enjoys is making things and baking things: she crochets (or tries to), paints when she feels a whim, and prepares vegan/vegetarian delicacies. And, she’s a sucker for anything creative, vintage, or literary. She dreams of writing the great American novella, hopefully setting down as a full-time writer, and traveling abroad.
